Don Stott is requesting to have the CADIS portal provide DIF records for the data sets in the CADIS portal. He has been telling Germar Bernhard (a co-PI on the "Ultraviolet Radiation in the Arctic" project) that CADIS would be able to provide DIF records for him for quite a while. We have talked about either having a way to create them directly from the CADIS database or somehow pulling them from GCMD and presenting them. This is a topic that was brought up at the last CADIS meeting and a decision was not made as to whether or not this should be included in CADIS so I am creating this ticket to document what is eventually decided.
