This is a companion ticket for CADISSUPPORT-30 to capture the work done on the code for that ticket. Germar is not the only one to have been confused by the file upload utility. The confusion centers around three things:

1) When you have already uploaded a file, the file upload utility does actually overwrite the file but the file access does not change and no indication is given that that's the case so when people try to upload a file to a different data set, they don't see any change.
2) Only the immediate parent data set title is shown as an indicator of where the file is being uploaded. Not being able to see the whole hierarchy path confuses people since there are nested data sets with the same or very similar names.
3) The directory on the server where the file will be uploaded is shown. People get confused as that path is not the same as the point in the hierarchy where they want to upload the file, it's the project level server directory. It's confusing that that path in no way effects where the file will show up within the portal UI.
