This may occur when the value provided does not have an equivalent in our system. Note the term for these values is the controlled vocabulary (CV). We may need to:

1) compare any ingested value to our CV
2) skip values that don't exist or are a slight mismatch so they don't render at all
3) expand our CV to include the new value

At one point, Metafor was going to create a CV server that would be the communities CV repository. They ran into technical difficulties doing this, so who knows if or when that will happen.
