This issue was encountered recently during federation auth-n testing. However, it is not easily reproduced.

The issue:

After entering a password to the OpenID Login page, the resulting page was simply an "empty" OpenID Login page with text "OpenID Login". The user was not sent to the original page requested (a file listing page).

Steps which occasionally reproduce the problem:

Select a file listing page by clicking "Download files for this collection" requiring authorization.
Enter a remote gateway openid in the login page.
Enter your password at the remote gateway "OpenID Login" page and click "Go"

If the issue is reproduced, the result of clicking "Go" is an "empty" OpenID login page, rather than the file listing page originally requested.
