The values for the "Model" facet on the ESG home page when you are searching for "Datasets" come from Model and ModelComponent objects retrieved from the database. There is a pre-populated Model and ModelComponent for ESM2M in the live ESG database but it is a "configured model" (configured ModelComponent) so it's only recognized as a simulation, not a model. There are ESM2M simulations and datasets that link to them. The questions become:
- Does a separate "model" (unconfigured ModelComponent) need to be added?
- Does the existing ESM2M ModelComponent need to be changed to unconfigured?
- What dataset(s) need to reference the ESM2M model?
