The Group Deletion link needs to be disabled in the Administration tab, until there is resolution on how to handle groups essential to federation. Some groups need to be shared across the federation and therefore cannot be deleted, yet nothing is in place at the moment to stop an administrator from any gateway from deleting any group they want too.
