File download metrics include a reference to the LogicalFile by way of the FileAccessPoint. From the related LogicalFile, size can be determined for metrics reporting.

We're considering relaxing the immutable constraint on LogicalFile.size for various project use cases. If this is done, file size must be captured during download events and stored with the file_download metrics record.
