Currently when a new User attempts to create an account on our system there is no way for them to re-request a confirmation email.
I would suggest that we allow Users to access the system right away after they create an account, but have a state of unconfirmed or something like that.
They would not be able to do anything until they do become a confirmed user by replying to or accessing a confirmation link. However, if something goes wrong with the User's email (goes to junk, the User entered a wrong email address, the mail just doesn't make it, etc...) the User will have the ability to resend their confirmation mail as many times as needed. The should also be able to update their personal information, including email.
