      CESM has a new ability to automatically export CMIP5-like metadata from the model when it runs. It is exported as a CIM (e.g. Metafor questionnaire) XML file. The subtasks associated with this story really refer to metadata that are unique to CESM and may not yet be harvested and displayed. There are also items in the exported file that should already work.
