It would be beneficial to have a search textfield on every page of our site.
This would benefit the user because they should hopefully be able to perform a search easily whenever they chose to perform a search.
Having the search textfield on every page comes from the Usability conference that Eric and I went to in San Fran.

BTW, of course, the discussion of the seven things that should be on every webpage is not on the above link, but I do clearly remember that piece of information from that conference.
