As a CMIP5 user, I may have created a model name in my data that did not match what CMIP5 wanted. If I change this, it will break things that have been published (data and metadata) before.

      Recently, Martina reported that the DRS model names was not matching was is coming out of the questionnaire. It is possible that Metafor is going to change the names in the questionnaire. If so, it will only affect new files. Old files will have the old names. We might need to map them to the new names. Below is the full list of mappings:

      So there are differences, notably (pcmdi on left):

      BCC vs CMA-BCC
      CSIRO-QCCCE vs QCCCE-CSIRO
      EC-EARTH vs EC-Earth
      GISS vs NASA-GISS
      NCC vs NorClim
      NMR-KMA vs NIMR
      ....also in the questionnaire, NCAS exists as a separate centre
