When clicking "Download files" after selecting 1 or more datasets from search results with a variable search category selected an ISE may occur.
This appears to be related to certain variables only. This is causing a number of common CMIP5 download workflows to fail at PCMDI.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Go to PCMDI3.llnl.gov
2) Select "CMIP5" project.
3) Select "histNat" experiment.
4) Select variable "air temperature"
5) select 1+ datasets in search results by checkbox.
6) Click "Download files" button.
7) Login if necessary.
Results in Internal Server Error (see stack portion in comment.)
Expected result is a summary page to download dataset selection from.
This issue does not appear to affect the 2.0 RC when running similar steps.
