Trying to distinguish Blue or Green text from Black text on a gray background is very difficult. Especially if a User's monitor settings are even a touch on the dark side.

For our blue text links we might want to consider adding the standard underline to make the link stand out more.

For required text in a form we might want to consider using a different visual indicator instead of color.
