JPL has been publishing test catalogs from their data to the PCMDI gateway. The results of publishing are not consistently what is expected. When changing the number of files in a dataset, subsequently deleting and re publishing the dataset doesn't yield consistent results. Sometimes the number of logical files are as expected. Other times the number isn't expected, it is in fact the number of files expected for the previous publishing operation.

It is not clear if this is a gateway problem at this time.
